Oh, Unfathomable Sadness
Well, something devastating happened in the world of fishing. During our most recent Nor'Easter, about 200 feet of the Lynnhaven Fishing Pier collapsed into the ocean, closing it for the immediate and probably far reaching future. Now, I have never fished off this pier, but I regret missing the future opportunities that I could have had. Here's hoping that this darn weather doesn't mess up the NOB Pier.

Why I should be coach of the Seahawks
Well, we are halfway into the NFL season and the Seahawk's season is already over. Seriously, we need to pack it in and get a good draft pick, because having Matt Hasselbeck back there isn't doing us any favors. I would throw the ball on every down, to our whiny WR T.J. Whatshisface, and continue to pretend like we aren't tanking to draft Colt McCoy or whatever stud RB is coming out this year. Just make the games look close, and get the 1st overall pick. Then blow up that terrible O-line we have and start from scratch with the rookies and first year guys. But I, alas, am not the coach and Jim Mora will probably find a way to win a few more games and totally screw us over.
Oh Valentine's Day, how I long for thee.
Well, the MLB season has come and gone. Unfortunately the Yankees were able to buy another World Series, but on a positive note the Phillies didn't win. Now begins the longest (not technically but it feels that way for me) offseason in which the Mets look to get better but probably won't. So, I will wait patiently until Valentine's Day, when everyone starts with a clean slate and the Mets look good on paper, but will probably stink up their beautiful stadium all year.
